Elba is a character in a current personal project.

Elba is an Ilnasil of the Elean'narë race. She is also the Ithilmë of her generation, those Ilnasil who since their birth are much more powerful and are in charge during the annual ceremonies (at midnight, the longest night of the year) of channeling all the energy of their people and throwing it into the cosmos to balance the universe. Usually this power is transmitted by bloodline.
Every 300 years or so a baby is born with the power to merge with the forest to such an extent that it is able to control it in a defensive manner. The rest of the generations are born with a small amount of that power, enough to participate in the rituals.
